About The Therapy Option:
Our facility specializes in St. John neuromuscular therapy, a pain management technique that is based on the physiological principles of ischemia (lack of blood in the tissues), trigger points, nerve compression/entrapment, postural distortion and biomechanics.
"Many times the painful pressure caused by herniated disks can be relieved through the release of specific muscles that are attached to the vertebrae that cause torsion on the vertebrae. The muscular system has a tremendous influence in the function of the body. Proper postural examination in combination with neuromuscular therapy done early can prevent skeletal and muscular problems in the future." Nancy M. Porambo
